Buylist Policy
(Policy current as of 3.14.2025)
General Policies
Buyer has the right to refuse any or all cards included in a submitted buy, for any reason
Seller agrees that cards presented to buyer are the sole property of the seller at time of submission
All buylist transactions are final. Refunds or returns will not be accepted once a buylist transaction has been completed and payment is given to the seller.
Our expected turnover time for buylist processing is 48 hours, dependent on staff availability. Larger buylists may take longer to process
Please have all cards unsleeved and separated between bulk and non-bulk cards. Failure to do so will result in a processing fee for time spent un-sleeving and organizing cards, to be assessed and deducted from the final offer (or charged upon completion if the seller decides to retain their cards).
After the total for a buy has been determined and an offer has been made for the submitted cards, the offer will stand for 72 hours. Failure to respond to the offer within 72 hours will result in the offer being rescinded and future buylists may be subject to a processing fee for re-assessing prices.
Payment
Payment for buylist purchases will be completed through either Store Credit, Cash, Check, or PayPal.
Buylist transactions for a cash amount over $1000 must be completed either through Check or PayPal.
Transactions completed over PayPal will be paid through PayPal Goods & Services. Please note that Goods & Services transactions charge a fee that will be deducted from the amount sent.
Pricing
General buylist prices are as follows:
- Cash: 50% of the card’s Marketplace value
- Store Credit: 60% of the card’s Marketplace value
While this is a general guideline for pricing, some factors may reduce a card’s offer, including current stock of the card and market volatility.
Buylist prices will be based on NM condition. Cards in conditions other than NM may be assessed at a percentage of the card’s NM buylist value as follows:
- LP: 90%
- MP: 70%
- HP: 50%
- DM: 30%
Graded Cards
Graded cards follow the same buylist pricing as ungraded singles, with several exceptions:
A graded card’s value will be determined by a separate Marketplace (typically a combination of Pricecharting and eBay)
We accept grades from the following certified companies: PSA, BGS, and CGC. All other grading companies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If a company is not seen to meet certain standards for grades, the card will be considered “raw” at the listed condition for the purpose of determining value.
Cards with lower grades may not carry the typical “premium” associated with higher-graded cards. For these cards, they may be valued at “raw” prices.
Card slabs must be in good condition to be considered for a premium. Any damage to a slab will lead to a deduction in the offered amount due to the necessity to submit cards for a re-casing or re-grading.
Bulk Cards
Individual Rare Cards valued at less than $2 will be considered “bulk” for buying purposes and will be taken in at a bulk rate rather than the typical percentage value
Cards bought at bulk are not eligible for a Store Credit bonus
Please check with the store that bulk is currently being bought before bringing bulk to the store.
When bringing bulk, please ensure that all cards are unsleeved and that basic lands and tokens/helper cards/code cards/etc are removed from the bulk. Failure to do so will result in a processing fee being assessed for the purchase.
